When we have a contest promotion your name is already in the contest box because you ordered a portrait in the past. Each time you order a portrait your name gets put into the contest Box. The Contest promotions are usually the BIG PORTRAITS that hold up to 6 to 7 people. If you're new and just want to try to Win the BIG Portrait then you pay a $10 dollar fee that secures your spot in the contest.
